— The product —

Every screen,
and every gap.

What follows is what a signed-in administrator can open today. The last section is what they cannot, listed with the same care.

— Academics —

The structure everything else hangs on

Courses, departments and semesters first; then a syllabus that remembers which version each batch enrolled under.

Campus structure

  • Courses with a length in semesters, and departments under them
  • Department heads drawn from the faculty directory
  • Credit requirement per programme, used by the transcript

Master syllabus

  • Board-versioned: a 2019 batch keeps the 2019 syllabus
  • Subjects carry credits, codes and marking components
  • A carry-over exam six years later still finds the right paper

Calendar and cycles

  • Academic calendar with terms and holidays
  • Registration cycles that open and close a window

— Examinations —

From marks entry to a document you can defend

The part most colleges are actually buying. Marks go in, results are checked before anyone sees them, and what comes out is frozen and serialised.

Grading

  • Your own grade bands and grade points, not ours
  • Marking components — internal, external, practical, whatever you call them
  • SGPA and CGPA computed from credits, with backlogs counted once

Declaration

  • Preview a cohort's results before issuing anything
  • Issue, then revoke and revise if something was wrong
  • Held-back students stay named on the sheet rather than vanishing

Documents

  • Marksheet PDF with a serial from an atomic per-institution counter
  • Consolidated transcript across every completed semester
  • Figures frozen at declaration; the transcript recomputes live

Papers

  • Question paper builder with delegated setters and moderation
  • Question bank and online proctored exams

— Faculty & staff —

One directory, and access that means something

Who works here, what they teach, and precisely what each of them can open.

Directory

  • Faculty and students in one place, imported from a spreadsheet
  • Self-fill profiles, so the office is not typing addresses
  • Custom fields when the product does not model something you need

Roles and access

  • Roles are named sets of permissions you define
  • Per-app access granted individually, separately from role
  • Assign faculty to subjects, and heads to departments

— Portals —

What the other two thousand people see

Students and faculty get their own doors, scoped to them, on the same shell as the administration.

Students

  • Semester and exam registration, including back papers
  • Attendance, syllabus and results for the chosen semester
  • Their own marksheet, once the institution has issued it

Faculty

  • Mark attendance for the classes they actually teach
  • Enter marks, per component, for their own subjects
  • Timetable, and nominating a substitute when away

— Not built —

The list we would rather you read here.

Parent communication

No SMS, email or WhatsApp notification layer.

No criterion-wise reporting.

Hostel, library, transport

Not started.

See it against your own semester.

Bring a real cohort and a real syllabus. That is the only demo worth anyone's time.
